Why oh why is this petition count so low? Although it is at a higher climb than most it is taking forever to get anywhere. Please note that this is one of your rights being taken away. We have got to take back control of the situation as it is getting to the point we as Americans will have no rights whatsoever. I stand for this cause 150%. Although I have not smoked a cigarette since December 18th, 09, I still firmly agree with this petition.

I try to visit the petition website daily to read up everyone's thought on the matter. Even if you are not a smoker please take that step to sign this petition to protect yourself from this second hand smoke, who knows if you are breathing in the same toxic chemicals that smokers are inhaling. I try to tell everyone I know about the FSC, even a total stranger standing in line at a convenient store. This is our life at risk, our freedom at risk and the future of of children at risk.

The petition asking to "Repeal Fire Safe Cigarette Laws" has nearly grown to 21,000 petitioners. Please sign this as this is a violation against your rights whether you smoke or not. If this law is left to stay then what else are we going to lose in the long run. The freedom to breathe? Oh wait this law is taking care of that as well. Many smokers are having a hard time breathing due to the chemical that is used for FSC.

I quit smoking, a month ago today. It has not been an easy task to do after smoking for so long but I have got to think about the long term effects of this chemical. I was forced to quit, it was not my decision to do so and I am extremely upset about this. I do not agree with the governement taking away my right to smoke, I wanted to quit smoking but wanted to do it on my terms not THEIRS! This should have been the people's choice. What opportunity did we have?

After personally being a smoker for over 15 years and smoking one brand of cigarettes I noticed a sever change in my health after smoking three packs of these FSC cigarettes. I never had any problems before the "carpet glue" was added to my normal brand. My symptoms include; headaches, upset stomach, dizziness, asthma attacks, nausea, anxiety, horrible cough, sore throat and bronchitis. So tell me how can you say that adding more unhealthy additives to and already unhealthy cigarette safe in anyway?. If you want to HELP the general public, why not help those quit smoking.
